ArtSociety Cultural Center Foundation is an independent cultural operator that supports and promotes Romanian Heritage, Modern and Contemporary Art through curated, thematic and synthesis exhibitions and cultural events. ArtSociety advocates for the recognition of the importance of Romanian Art in connection with European Art. With its projects, the Foundation aims to contribute to the education of the society through art and to create new mechanisms for understanding the events and the historical period we live in.

Thus, the operating principle of the Foundation is developing a sense of belonging through culture and by learning about the national heritage and joining the international community whose values and models we resonate with.

Art is an essential element in the education of new generations and, through its strategic partnerships, ArtSociety acts as an extension for the public institutions that conduct educational programs, by facilitating access to all forms of art to children and students.

ArtSociety Cultural Center Foundation was founded in 2010 by the renowned art critic and historian Ruxandra Garofeanu (1944 - 2021).
